Discussions about Aquila and Thomas< Have you read any of the old Chase Chronicles that were printed in the early part of the century? Many references were made then about the fact that the Chases came from Wales. Could very well be true you know. I have often wondered how much REAL RESEARCH was carried on for any of the Chases. Regardless, I believe we should pay attention to the fact that there was much talk about the Chase Family coming from Wales. (Now that was 100 years ago they were talking about that so In my opinion we should pay attention to what they were writing back that many years ago.) Also, isn't there quite a good reference to Aquila(lla) coming from Chesham? in the 7 generations of A and T. Chase book? Perhaps we should all review that old book that can be found in the New England H. Genea. Society Library and can be gotten on loan if one belongs to the society. I have a suggestion: For those connected to Aquilla and Thomas I suggest you contact the Chase who was President of the New England H. Genea. Society a few years back. He surely would have done his home work on Aq. and Th. since he was connected to them. Ginger in Az. P.S. Anyone taking a trip to Bucks. Co. this summer? Also, Jelliman is clearly the right spelling ---As so many of us do---when transcribing. I remember that spelling of that when I first started researching in the Bucks. Co. Record Office in England.
