There's no present-day st. David that I know of.... Also, 1775 as a birth date, probably means he was born elsewhere..New Brunswick wasn't new Brunswick ( it was Nova Scotia) until abt, 1784.....There was a family of Stephen, and Zebdee and some others in Cornwallis N.S. before 1783 1784 (Loyalists landing).... There was an Ammi Chase in Port Rosedale, a James Chase down in Cumberland CO.... .Here's Samuel Chase, b. 11 Nov 1782 in Cornwallis, NS son of Jethro and Dorothy (Cone) Chase!!!!!!!! You'll find that in John Carroll Chase's genealogy of William see family # 129...... Incidentally, of three reference works on the Loyalists, none mentions Samuel as coming in on the 1783-84 fleets out of revolutionary America.
