Dear Chase folks, I have a Robert Chase who was in the Revolutionary war, apparently from New York. A distant cousin of mine applied for a DAR admission on his service, and that is where I got this info. Anyways, Robert married Sarah Revelle, and they had a daughter named Sarah Chase. Anyways, apparently this family lived in North Carolina when Sarah Chase was born (~1774?-from 1850&1860 censuses), moved to Missouri before Robert died, and his daughter, Sarah, married Robert Desha. Many of their descendants later married members of the Revelle family which had separately settled in missouri. I am interested in any info about Robert Chase which could clear up some of the mystery about him, and which could especially give me some idea of who exactly Sarah revelle was, and how she relates to the revelles which her grandchildren married.
