"An antique store owner gave me some loose pages from an old Bible that describe the career, children , siblings and parents of a Presbyterian minister named Joshua Chase Burgess (b. 1842), son of John Burgess and Hannah Chase of somewhere in Nova Scotia. Joshua went to Dalhousie U. in Halifax and also the Theological College there. I would be happy to donate the loose leaves to anyone who cares about this man and his relatives. I do know that Joshua Chase Burgess's mother, Hannah Chase, was the daughter of Joshua Chase and Esther Terry. Joshua Chase was the son of Joseph Chase and Hannah Ells. Joseph was the son of Stephen Chase and Esther Buffinton. Stephen was born in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, USA and died in Cornwallis, Kings Co, Nova Scotia. Linda Chase
