Hi Diane, Yes, I would really appreciate it if you would put me in touch with your friend. Am beginning to think he may be in my line. Have 2 direct Benjamins, and my line also goes into the Woods and Cornells; and the Woods, besides the Chases are related to the Cornells. Also, Benjamin Chase came fr. Mass to Columbia Co, which I believe is very near Cayuga Co. and the Woods and Cornells. Just last night, I found a ton of info relating the Woods, Chases and Cornells...........I have to find the time to sort it out..............! And, I also found at the same site under gsal - Gary Salstrom, quite a bit of info I was looking for re Benj. Chase who m. Mehitable Thurston, he was suposedly her 4th hus. but I found that she had 1st been m. to a Coggeshall & had a dt., then m. Daniel Wood , then ? the name if she really m. again before marrying Benjamin Chase Sr., cause the marriage dates were only abt 5 yrs. apart. MUCH to straighten out.
