Almost from the day I joined this Group there have been those who not able to connect to William Aquilla and Thomas have assumed that this Group is for research on those Chase /Chace families only. This is certainly not true. I had people who have sent me emails saying they have not sent in what information the have to be included inthe Chase database because they have not yet established a connection to the 3 Chase mentioned ! I see you live in Australia and assume your close family immigrated there. I for one am interested. You probably know that I am Australian living in England. My Chase descendant,grandfather, went from Nova Scotia to OZ in 1860, (yes 1860) it was only by searching his history that we discovered our CHASE/Hume connections in America. As a result I have 6 letters written to my ancestors brother in Oregon telling of his story in Australia and of many social changes, and facts I never knew. The Chase Group is dominated by Americans but we really need people like yourself to add some further depth. Indeed there are some people joining this Group wheo think it is ONLY about William, who went to Aerica in 1630 and two possibly brothers possibly unconnected to William Over some time I have had many queries as to why there appear to be no researchers of English CHASE. Have you located any of your English Chase ancestors? ANY Chase from anywhere is of interest.
