    3. Firstly, we now have 81 interested parties so the project is Ok . However please do not send me any of your information until I request it which will be after the format is finalised Secondly there are still some people who have signed up but are not sure what they are signing up to. The basic idea is to have a register of Chase/Chace researchers but to include a graphical illustration as to where individuals live. I feel it is important that we do this as the facility to register your details on my Chase/Chace www site is now non functional. and also I believe it is in all our research interests to have some idea where we each live. The idea was to present a map,(online) of each country where those interested reside I have been told by surnameweb that I can have plenty of Server Space for the project. I would be most pleased to hear ANY other suggestions that are both logical and technically possible. ( Free your creative instincts!) The following is my first thoughts on the working of this project This map would only show the States or Counties of that country Clicking a particular State or County you will then be presented with a Table of those who live there. The Table will show A) Name of person---- B) Email address--- and, AS AN OPTION, a column showing the Town , or nearest, to where they live. Clicking on the Name, A), will show the details that person wishes to display. The information will be in "Free Form" although I think it may be less confusing to making the information more uniform in content such as: 1) Research interests, This should be confined to your CHASE/CHACE line 2) Other families you are interested in 3) If you are prepared to help, even in a small way, with anyone researching some of the lines you are also looking at or who may need help in finding where to look at archives in your area( NOT necessarily offering to visit those archives.) or perhaps doing look-ups. 4) OPTIONAL--Something about your ancestors or family 5) Links to your own Web Site if you have one. This could be done in 1) Research Interests. One suggestion I have received was the use of Zip or Post Codes. I am not sure how that works other countries but here in the UK a Post or Zip code can cover a small area such as 12 houses in one street. Also the whole of the UK has been mapped on the Internet at Multimap.com and simply entering the code and clicking or hitting return you are shown a detailed map showing the area requested. If the US,Canada, Australia have similar facility I would be interested to hear if anyone is in favour of this Finally where anyone has presented a lot of info they will have their own Web page and where the information is minimal then they will share a page with others but by clicking on the Name they will go directly to the section requested. I hope this clarifies matters somewhat, Keith
