Hi,Ellie, Thank you for your views. They really are most welcome. I am not sure how those who lived in the places you mention would know straight away that I had ancestors who lived in the places mentioned. However I believe it would not be too difficult to present the information in a lot of ways ALL of which could be used. For instance I have already decided that those seeking CHASE people in the U.S. would have a choice of seeing a table with those living there simply listing their names in alphabetical order, email, and State they lived in. Clicking on their name would take the enquirer to the details of that person OR going straight to a map of the US clicking on the Area they are interested in and then being presented with a list of those living there. Again clicking on the name would take them to the details of that person. So if I can fully understand how you would like to see the information and there is enough interest it would be no problem to also make that an option Perhaps I am not understanding just what you mean. Perhaps you could be more specific by using your own family as an example of what you would like to see. I am also somewhat puzzled about your nor being interested in Kentucky Courtrights? How do you know they are not another branch of your family and may have information that could assist you maybe leading you further back to your roots, unless you already know them., Keith ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, October 14, 2002 12:01 AM Subject: [CHASE-L] Re: Image Mapping project. > Kieth wrote: > "For instance mine started in England then MA, RI, back to MA then New > Brunswick then Nova Scotia then Australia and here am I back in England. > Surely it is far better that I state this from one location...Mine?" > > Well, not necessarily far better, since those who were interested in Chases > who had lived in MA, RI, NB, NS or Australia would know right off that you > were to be contacted and those who were only interested in Chases who lived > in Florida wouldn't contact you.
