To the CHASE-L list I am sending this email as I have had 7 messages so far asking what this is about. Some people do not appear to be getting all the emails posted to the Group. Hi,Melinda, I am very surprised you have not seen the emails concerning my idea. What I want to do is to have Maps of the countries the CHASE/CHACE people live in. They would be what is known as Image Maps. These are pictures,(in this case actual maps) that when you move your mouse pointer over them and click send you to another page. For instance I live near London so anyone clicking on a map of England would get an email listing of all those who live their. In my case if you clicked on my email address you would get a more detailed map showing the town I live in amd there would be information about me, my research interests, that is which line of Chase I am descended from and what assistance I am prepared to give to others, if any. Please excuse the Capitals but I must emphasise that their is NO COMPULSION OF ANY SORT TO OFFER HELP. The advantages of this project would be that everone's interests will be easily accessible and others cansee where the people in the Group live. The minimum information would be simply your name, email address and STATE or COUNTY . NOTHING ELSE unless you wanted to. If you wish to add the TOWN you live in.that is good.
