Dear Kieth, In my zipcode there are thousands of people and many square miles. And I live in Los Angeles. Still, since locating us each on a map is only a device through which we may access the information that each other holds, I see no reason not to use it. Although it is of passing interest that you live in the UK, it has no bearing on the questions I have about my fifth great grandparents who lived in the area of Mass./NH in the seventeenth century, right? However, with this zipcode device, I could go to the Chase Family Site, click on your name/zipcode and automatically see what your line was, what information you have that you've chosen to share, and have an address where I can reach you for more. And if I happened to live in the UK, we could perhaps meet and look at the photos we each had of our ancestors, share our information-keeping formats and have a cup of tea. Do I have this right? Is there more that you had in mind? I've noticed that several Chases have included the information that their ancestors lived in this state or that state and migrated over time to the mid-west of the US. I think that's important information and another option in the organization of this locator-device. Instead of using our own present locations, you could organize it by the states or provinces where the ancestors lived. I think that would allow us to cut to the chase, so to speak, and narrow the field of inquiry. Sincerely, Ellie Pelcyger
