So far I am encouraged by the response I have had to the idea of an Image Map As in some cases I have already had more than one email from some of you on the subject could I ask for your forbearance and by requesting the ALL of those interested send a simple email with the subject "Image Map IN". I can then put them in a separate folder and ensure I do not miss anyone. If anyone has any ideas about how this idea may be improved I would be interested. Even more I would be keenly interested to hear from anyone who thinks there may be some drawbacks with the idea. I repeat that I cannot see any reason why ANYONE subscribing to this group should not participate but if someone can enlighten me I would be grateful. To those of you who say you have very little to contribute I repeat that this is one way you could be of assistance and also receive help. So we are well on the way to my basic figure of 80 but I would be disappointed if it was not at least 200. Footnote;- So everyone understands as the information supplied will be free form, i.e as the donor dictates each one will have a seperate web page. I have the space available, I see my role as developing the Image map and linking to the various pages. It would assist if someone volunteers to convert text to html for those who cannot do this. Hi Keith, I am not sure if I have been counted as "IN" or not. And a bit confused if this is way different from the CD we did. Regardless; you can map me as growing up in Central Vermont & now living here. I try to document " every" Chase I run into & have posted a lot of that on the LIST. Have more to do. Do I need to resubmit that which I have posted? Things which are on my agenda: 1) History of the Episcopal churches in this area because of the heavy Chase, inc. influence here. 2) Pick out the Chases in the 1791 Census (Vermont). I see that Judy Needham has some listed, but know at least one in Randolph where I live is not ..Seth Chase. 3) I will do look ups in the "Seven Generations" ....... 4) I documented every Chase I ran into while searching at the Town Clerks office in Essex, Chittenden County, Vermont Between now & when the cemeteries are closed for the winter which will be mid November, I as part of the historical society are going to get started on the recording data from the gravestones on the oldest on here in the "village" If you want a mug shot of me, can u pick it off one of my web sites? Several on "RandolphConnects, photos, "ME" Well golly getting tired just thinking of the tasks I have set before me. Oh, it is best to use my hotmail as my addy for anything "permanent" . Though the list adms. have asked me not to use it because of the rate of bouncing, others keep Changing. [email protected] Harriet M.
