I could use some information about James Chase, born 15 Sept 1685. He is number 10 on page 39 of Seven Generations of the Descendants of Aquila and Thomas Chase. His biographical info should be somewhere around page 50. I need to know when he died, whom he married and when; any juicy little pieces of info about where he lived and what he did; and who his kids were. Also, why was Ensign Moses Chase and ensign? I seem to remember that's a naval title. And what religious denomination did the early Chases subscribe to in Newbury?
