ALL, In the latest update I neglected to ensure that the gedcom file I uploaded to the Surnameweb server was EXACTLY as the cgi script required. For the technically astute among you this meant that I therefore finished up with 2 gedcom files on the server. To convert the gedcom to the database you see on the site it is necessary for me to TELNET a command which I did. However this did no more than re-generate the file that was already there.
