Does anyone have any information on Allen Chase of Dartmouth, MA, who married Deborah Buffinton of Dartmouth on September 19, 1799? I bought a copy of Burials and Burial Places in the town of Dartmouth, MA, last week. Published in 1997 by the Dartmouth Cemetary Association and the Dartmouth Historical Commission, it lists burial records for over 100 Chases and Chaces (mostly Chaces). It inventories all the existing gravestone markers and what they say for modern-day Dartmouth (it does not include cemetaries in the original township of Old Dartmouth which now lie in other towns).
