    3. I hope you will forgive me if I ask for clarification on this email. I have a number of questions about the dates you gave for the various people named. (1) I have the 1688 date for William who married Dorcas Baker, but I have also * Jul 1668. Which is correct? (2) I noticed that you gave 15 Nov 1696 as the birthdate for Dorcas Baker and the same for Mary Chase. Could you check this one and give the correct date for whichever? (3) If Dorcas Baker was born in 1696, as given, it would be a physical impossiblity for her to have a son born on 16 Oct 1774, especially if he married someone born in 1696 and 1733. Could you clear this one up? I have his birthday as somewhere in 1729. I don't have a birthday for the Mary Chase you mentioned, but I have that they were married 12 Feb 1756 or 1757 at Sandwich, Barnstable, MA. Thank you for the info on Mercy, by the way, I didn't have that at all. Thanks also for their children and the dates for them. Do you have a death date for Mary and a marriage date for Mercy? Thank you for a very informative letter. It was fascinating to read and to check against my information. Sorry if I sounded confused before. Sometimes it is difficult to keep the various William Chases separate.
