    1. [CHASE-L] Research blues
    2. To anyone interested in giving me a hand, I started "researching" the Chase line out of curiosity and interest in where my father's family came from. I am at a point however, where finding information has been slow and frustrating and I am finding there is a lot I need to know to continue. 1. I have foolishly accepted the gedcoms of others, trusting their research. I do not know how to get the documentation I need, not what it is I really need. 2. Where do I start? I had gotten some oral history from my grandfather before he passed, and from my father recently, but some of it is contradictory and most of it is incomplete. I understand this is not geneology 101 here, but your help would be greatly appreciated. This is the information I have. I am open to any suggestions you may have for me. 1.Franklin Chase m Lillian Goakey Gilkey 2. Albert Franklin Chase m.Ester Lucielle (Pearl) Blackmer 3 Angelina Chase 3. Franklin Chase 3. Any help in varifying this line would be greatly appreciated, as well as pointers about what I need to do next, what documentation I need, and where to go to find the documentation I need. Thank you so much and I apologize for the length of this message. Kristina Chase lost in Illinois
