To anyone interested in giving me a hand, I started "researching" the Chase line out of curiosity and interest in where my father's family came from. I am at a point however, where finding information has been slow and frustrating and I am finding there is a lot I need to know to continue. 1. I have foolishly accepted the gedcoms of others, trusting their research. I do not know how to get the documentation I need, not what it is I really need. 2. Where do I start? I had gotten some oral history from my grandfather before he passed, and from my father recently, but some of it is contradictory and most of it is incomplete.
