Here are my Kansas Chases. All the kids moved to Oregon with Mary just after my great grandpa Newt died. CHARLES8 CHASE (ABRAHAM7, ABNER6, BARNABUS5, NATHANIAL4, WILLIAM3, WILLIAM2, WILLIAM1) was born August 23, 1804 in Washington, Pennsylvania, and died September 28, 1876. He married REBECCA CATHERS November 22, 1826 in Washington, Pennsylvania. She was born January 12, 1809 in Washington, Pennsylvania, and died May 14, 1884. Children of CHARLES CHASE and REBECCA CATHERS are: i. NEWTON9 CHASE, b. April 25, 1844, Quincy, Illinois; d. February 27, 1908, Fort Scott, Kansas; m. MARY CHARLOTTE MEASON, April 03, 1879, Fort Scott, Kansas; b. April 02, 1861, Burlington, Iowa; d. August 03, 1923, Bend, Crook County, Oregon. ii. ADDIE CHASE, b. Bet. 1826 - 1846; m. WHITE; b. Bet. 1800 - 1850. iii. ABNER CHASE, b. Bet. 1826 - 1846. NEWTON9 CHASE (CHARLES8, ABRAHAM7, ABNER6, BARNABUS5, NATHANIAL4, WILLIAM3, WILLIAM2, WILLIAM1) was born April 25, 1844 in Quincy, Illinois, and died February 27, 1908 in Fort Scott, Kansas. He married MARY CHARLOTTE MEASON April 03, 1879 in Fort Scott, Kansas, daughter of WILLIAM MEASON and REBECCA RYAN. She was born April 02, 1861 in Burlington, Iowa, and died August 03, 1923 in Bend, Crook County, Oregon. Children of NEWTON CHASE and MARY MEASON are: i. CHARLES NEWTON10 CHASE, b.
