No matter how much many folks might like it to be otherwise, there is absolutely no, I repeat no, documentary evidence to support the pure speculation that Aquila & Martha Jelliman Chase had a son William. (Or Thomas, for that matter.) If anyone has any evidence (verifiable original source document citations) to the contrary, there are just a whole lot of serious genealogists who would very very much like to see it. Dick Chase
