Still trying to find the death date of Wallace Fairbanks Chase. As best that can be figured according to the census, Wallace was born abt.1882. Some of the census states he was born in Virginia while others state he was born in Maine. According to the marriage license and certificate to his second wife, Mamie Elizabeth Smith in 1948, Wallace was listed as living in St. Louis, Mo. The two witnesses for the marriage were probably his two sons, Charles F. Chase, and William . E.B. Chase. Wallace supposedly died around 1950-1954 in St. Louis, Mo. I have sent to St. Louis and Illinois vital records and they have nothing on Wallace. I have checked for the last several years in every place I know possible, but nothing. So, thought perhaps someone in the Chase family would have information that would help me over this huge brick wall. Praying for a miracle that someone will know the death date for Wallace F.
