I was wondering if anyone has information on Charles Chase born in Vermont in about 1841? According to the 1880 Census, his father was born in Massachusetts and his mother in Vermont. In 1880, Charles was married to Ann, age 36, lived in Platte Valley, Nebraska, and they had the following children: Elwin age 14 born NY, Clinton age 12 born NY, Hattie age 9 born NY, Herbert age 4 born Iowa, and Frank age 2 born Iowa.
