HI,ALL, I have contacted the server owner and he tells me that the problem was that mo backup had ever been done. There has been no hard disk drive failure but I will have to reconstruct the whole site. Our sub domain should be ready to allow this in a couple of hours but it is unlikely that I will make a start before Sunday as I am away. I will keep you all informed. If anyone has suggestions regarding the site now would be an excellent time to let me know about them.
