Hello - I also have Chases in Kansas, although I have very little information right now - this is what I have - Mercy Jane GIBBENS (b. 3 Sept. 1850) married Samuel Parker CHASE (b. 15 Aug. 1840 in New York) on 15 Aug. 1871. In March of 1886 they moved to Chase, Rice Co., KS where they had a 160 acre farm. They had 3 known children - George J. Chase (b. 27 Apr. 1876), Frank E. Chase (b. 10 Feb. 1883) and Harry E.
