I am researching two Chase lines and have hit a brick wall on both. (1) I am looking for the family of Henry V. Chase. Henry Chase was born Abt. 1831 in New York. He married Ella Brewer, born Abt. 1841 in New York. They were living in Tawas, Michigan in 1870. Henry and Ella had at least 4 children: Eova Chase (female) b. Abt. 1862 in Michigan Charles Chase b. Abt. 1865 in Michigan (Charles was in Grand Rapids when his brother died in 1945) William Chase b. Abt. 1867 in Michigan Guy H. Chase b. March 9, 1871 in East Tawas, Michigan d. April 15, 1945, Traverse City, Michigan. Married Valona Noble 1893 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The family moved to Big Rapids, Michigan, around 1882. (2) I am looking for the family of Sarah Lavinia Chase. She was born July 31, 1863 in Wisconsin and died in 1931. She married Dean Crain April 16, 1888 in Long Lake, Michigan. Sarah had at least two brothers, James and Frank. Frank was living in Toledo, Ohio, and James was living in Garlena, Kansas, where their sister died in 1931.
