According to the NEGHR Vol 87, April 1934 p. 113 Mercy Chase b. 1779 m. Wm. Hathaway 1795 Mercy was descended from William of Yarmouth, Benjamin, Benjamin Jr., Michael, Michael Jr.of Freetown. Freetown Record Book p 467 shows: William Hathaway of New Bedford Mary Chase of Freetown Apr 19 1795. Are Mercy and Mary the same girls? Hoping someone has something on this line.Thanks RUTHIEM
