    1. Re: [CHASE-L] Aquila, William, and family
    2. Hello Luke, Thank you for writing. Wow, this is interesting. Have you found source documentation on your tree yet? I am new at this so I haven't yet. So I don't know what is correct. The info (or misinfo) I have on William and Aquila came from from Family Tree Maker or Ancestrycom. It is from work others have done on their family trees that seem to fit, but it may well be wrong. I don't really know where to begin to find source documentation to substantiate anything. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Yes, I would like to know more of the ancestry of Abigail and Hannah, thank you. I would be happy to receive any further info on this that you or anyone else here would care to share. Thank you again, Melody In a message dated 5/12/99 3:59:10 AM !!!First Boot!!!, l.huisman@home.com writes: << Hi Melody, I differ with your #7. I show William as not being a son of Aquila at all, but rather of Benjamin Chase (1570-) and Helen Harvie (1570-), m. Jan 18, 1592 at Wivenhoe, Essex, England. I show William's date of birth as Nov 20, 1597 & show siblings Ann (1592) and George (1600). For William Chase Jr., I show that Elizabeth Holder was his 2nd wife, m. abt 1653. The mother of William (b. 1645) I show as Abigail or Sarah Hale (1624-1653). For your #10, the dates for Abigail Sherman are 1680-1748. I have her ancestry if you're missing it (likewise for Hannah, wife of your #9). Hope this helps! Regards, Luke Huisman Edmonton, Alberta, Canada >>
