I have an Olive CHASE MESSENGER (Samuel MESSENGER of Holliston, MA) that had a daughter, Catherine. She married a "SMITH", but as one would imagine, tracing this line (any Smith!) is like the old needle in the haystack! Would it be possible that the "SMITH", is any link to your Laura Chase Smith? This has been my biggest Brick Wall in this line, I am SO anxious to get this mystery solved! (As you can see, I'm grasping at straws everywhere, LOL) If anyone has even the tiniest clue, I'd really appreciate hearing it. We come down through Josiah Chase.
