This flurry of activity has prompted me to try again. I am looking for the parents of a Hannah Chase. She was born in 1799 in one of the eastern states, probably Vermont. She married Stratton Martin ( date unknown ) of Vermont and they moved to Dane County, Wisconsin in 1844. She had a brother named Abraham and it is said that her father's name was Abraham also. She died in 1877 and is buried in Wheeler Prairie Cemetery near Stoughton, Wisconsin next to her husband. She is believed to be a descendant of William.
