HI, I could use the help of Chase researchers who are more familiar than I in matters of Chase history. We have as an ancestor a Nathan Chase b. 1785 - d.-1847. He married Betsey Harger b. 1787-d. 1858. They were married in Martinsburg, Lewis Co., NY in 1808. They lived in Lowville, Lewis Co., and Wilna, Jefferson Co..Nathan lived in Lowville at the same time as Reuben Chase who, I have been told, was the son of Benjamin Chase b. 1747 Bristol Ma. I have seen a family tree that lists both Nathan and Reuben as sons of Benjamin. We believe our Nathan is the brother of Reuben and also the son of Benjamin, but lack anything conclusive to prove it. Is there anyone out there that can confirm this scenerio or at least point me in the right direction for further data. Many thanks, Tom Pollard.
