With regard to Dick's previous email. I am responsible for the site that has the information Dick refers to. As many of you will know the original site suffered a major crash and the site owner managed to save the information the index of which is www.chase.genealogysurnames.com Fortunately the data saved includes Lonnie and Maryetta Chase' TOTAL transcription of the CHASE CHRONICLES also the COMPLETE INDEX of the 1880 CENSUS for CHASE?CHCE and derevatives, 12,000+ individuals CHASE/CHACE database. Also an IMAGE MAP showing details of CHASE Researchers. The links to the details of The early American CHASE/CHACE settlers is broken as are many of the later links on the Index. As to the reconstruction this is a VERY large job added to which I had experienced difficulty contacting the Owner of the Server partly due to my own fault but not entirely. I will try again, However at this time I should point out to more recent members of this List of the enormous parts played by, Lonnie Chase, Charlie Scott, all those who contributed to the database and MANY,MANY more without whose help the compilation of the site would no way have been possible. Having said all this, purely a personal view, but I would like to see any new members not only list their queries but also indicate any relevant information. From London, now recovering from the hottest month ever, I wish you all well in your never ending quests.
