Hi to all of the Chase group. I have been busy the past year working on our 50-year high school reunion and various activities with the Sons of the American Revolution. I have also been learning to play the fife. I will be visiting Yorktown in October for the 225th anniversary of that event. I will be laying a wreath, from the Commonwealth of Kentucky, during the memorial service. Some of the best Fife and Drum Corps in the country will be there along with most of the nation's military bands. I look forward to hearing how the fife should be played. I have not been sending DNA reports because we have not had anything new to report. For those of you who match the descendants of Aquila or William, but have not found the link to prove all the way back to one of those gentlemen, you might consider upgrading to a test that shows more markers. It is possible that when you upgrade to the 37 marker test we will start seeing some differences between the descendants of the sons of Aquila and William. This could help you get on the right path. If some of you with proven ancestry also upgrade, this will give us a base to start with and might help the others. Family Tree DNA lowered the price on upgrades. I recently upgraded from 25 to 37 markers and it was only $49.00. For those of you interested in taking the DNA test and want more information you can either visit the Family Tree DNA Co. site or send me an e-mail and I will get in touch with you. By the way, our group rate is better than the ones listed on the FTDNA site. I did not see Doug's e-mail. I did see Richard's answer and it looked good to me. Charlie Scott
