Re: your note to Doug about your dna test-trying to confirm that Aquila and Thomas were, in fact, brothers was one of our objectives in getting folks to have their dna tested and make the results available for the tabulations and analysis that are shown on the www.chase.genealogysurnames.com web site. (I worked on the tabulation and analysis part with Charlie Scott who organized the group's dna test effort.) Since no proven (by documentation) Thomas descendants participated, we could not see if the dna of Aquila descendants matched with Thomas and thus prove their probable sibling status. If your test matched the Aquila line dna, and you can substantiate your Thomas lineage, that would be exactly what we were and still are looking for. Did you make your results available for others in the group to view? (I don't recall getting a notice to that effect.) And, is there anything that I might be able to help you with in filling out your ancestry to link you to Thomas? Let me know if I can help.
