    3. Let me try and clarify this once and for all. 1) The original database used to be part of my site with surnameweb and entry to it was byself ONLY and the site owner 2) Some 2 years ago I was informed by the site owner that his server had crashed but some data had survived. ( Correspondence on this to the list may be in rootsweb archives) 3) This data with the exception of the Database was transferred to its current site by Surnameweb HOWEVER the Database was transfered to an entirely different site which I had access to for updating. 4) Since then there has been very little interest by anyone to add information,( I believe that 2 people asked but never took it forward) 5) To illustrate that this database has not been under my EXCLUSIVE CONTROL ie I had the only copy I would ask any member who has a copy to make this known to the list. 6) I have a copy of the database as it stood 5 years ago. If anyone wishes me to search it I am willing to do so until we can sort this mess out As the most injured party in this mess I feel agrieved that some suspicion has been cast upon me I have also taken issue with Ancestry.com for using data on my family which could only have originated with me. It may be well to remember that some list members have probably used the facility with such as Ancestry.com not realising that a situation such as this coulsd arise. If anyone has any further comments plese send to me as soon as possible Keith Hume ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lisa R.
