    3. Hi James, I am a decesdant of Isaac Chase through his son Henry...who was the uncle of your Nathaniel! My Henry moved to Petersham and then to Vermont from Sutton/ Millbury and that was where my Chase line is from. Nice to meet you cousin!! The Worcester Library has a great section on Genealogy. It was in the registers of the Daughters of the American Revolution in the library that I found the information about Henry's service in the revolution. You will find Nathaniels there. Check with a local chapter of the DAR or the Worcester library. It was also in the Worcester Library that I found the information that stated that Isacc died of scrofula...tuberculosis...and that Hannah Berry, his wife...died of "a lump in the breast". I found it interesting to find an 18th century ancestor who died of breast cancer...since there is an issue with it in the females in my family today. Lonnie Chase who is also on this list is also a decesdant of Isaac. Kathy Caslin kathyc_7@msn.com

    3. Hi Kathy, Did Isaac die of both scrofula (a disease of the neck tissue) and tuberculosis (a disease of lung tissue)? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kathleen Caslin" <kathyc_7@msn.com> To: <chase@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, August 27, 2006 4:49 AM Subject: Re: [CHASE] Lt. 3. Scrofula.....I found an article one time that stated that Scrofula was actually an old name for a form of tuberculosis. Tuberculosis can effect more than just the lungs and it was a major cause of death before drug treatments were developed for it.
