For several years I have seen warnings very similar to this on some techno-publishing lists I subscribe to. They all turned out to be hooey. Also, Rootsweb discourages posting these "pass it on" Internet doom warnings for two reasons. First, they take rootsweb computer capacity away from genealogy users. Second, they are usually hooey.
