I have also had problems e-mailing GEDCOM files to Keith. I tried it from 2 different Internet Service providers, and I did everything correctly. I am a computer programmer for a living, and I successfully e-mail large file attachments many times a day. I was able to e-mail from AOL and my work e-mail account to many other users, but not to Keith. I was even able to e-mail my GEDCOM file from my work e-mail to my home e-mail with no trouble, and vice versa. So I know that this is not an AOL problem. By the time my data file got to Keith, it was always split up into several different pieces -- the same problem this user is having. So, since this has happenned to more than one person, I am beginning to suspect that Keith's Internert provider is the problem. It possibly has a maximum file size set for attachments, and when this is exceeded, the file is broken up into smaller pieces. What I ended up having to do was put my GEDCOM file on a Web Page on the World Wide Web so that Keith could download it. This is not an easy solution, but that was the only was I could get my data across.
