Ann, In Seven Generations of Aquila and Thomas Chase there are two Mehitable s married to Daniel Chase. Neither of their last names was Chase tho. Family 355 is as follows: Daniel Chase (Lt. Caleb, Daniel, Ens. Moses, Aquila) born in Sutton 9 Jan 1768; died in Claremont, NH 2 Dec 1840. He married (1) in Cornish, NH 28 Feb 1796 Polly Fitch who was born 6 Oct. 1778 and died 3 June 1802. He married (2) in Sutton 9 Sept 1804 Mehitable Woodbury, daughter of Jonathan and Hannah Woodbury, born in Sutton 2 Nov 1774, died in Claremont, NH 14 Apr 1807. He married (3) in Claremont 1 Nov 1807 Nancy Strobridge who was born in Claremont 9 july 1786 and died 10 Nov 1871. They lived in Claremont where he kept Chase's Tavern from 1794 to 1840. He had children by all three wives. By first wife: Mary b. 11 Jan 1797; married 27 Oct 1817 Austin Corbin of New Port, NH and New York City; nationally known banker and railroad magnate. She died 7 Nov.1869. Daniel Prince (1009) born 22 Jan 1799. Sarah born 11 Nov. 1801; died 29 Nov 1818. By second wife. William Woodbury (1010) born 10 Nov. 1805. By third wife: Mehitable Woodbury born 3 Feb 1811; married 11 Feb 1834 Amos A. Watson. She died 8 Apr. 1881 in Claremont. Emily born 30 Aug 1815; married 5 Oct 1840 Amos Bailey Currier. Sarah born 4 Nov 1821; married 25 Dec 1843 Christopher F. Norton, son of James of Fredonia, NY. She died 13 Feb 1870. Nancy born 7 Nov 1823; married 25 Dec 1843 Luther Farwell of Claremont; died 5 Feb 1907. He was born 11 Aug 1810 and died in Boston where they lived, 12 nov 1896. Their daughter Mary Chase born 7 June 1855 married 1 June 1885 Hosea Starr Ballou of Brookline, where they resided. Two sons, Luther Farwell and Hosea Starr Ballou Jr. James Hiram (1011) born 14 Mar 1830. Three children died in infancy. The next Daniel Chase ( Capt. Moses, Daniel, Ens. Moses, Aquila) born in Sutton 23 Mar 1753 died in Cornish NH 13 Aug 1841. He married (1) in Cornish 5 Sept 1776 Mehitable Kimball, daughter of Benjamin and Hannah (Richards) Kimball of Plainfield, NH. She was born in Preston, Conn, 12 Mar 1757 and died in Cornish 2 May 1813. He married (2) Mary (Estabrook) Hall, widow of Moody Hall. She was born 9 Feb 1769 and died in Cornish 21 May 1824 aged 55. He married (3) 5 Jan 1825 Mary May of Bradford, VT. She died in Cornish 16 Jan 1831 aged 61. He married (4) 9 Oct 1833 Mary C (Kimball) Daniels widow of John Daniels and daughter of Joseph and Hannah (Morgan) Kimball. She was born Nov 1767 and died 27 Jan 1855. They lived in Cornish. Children by first wife born in Cornish: Clementina born 29 Sept 1777, died 22 Oct 1777. Gerard born 16 Jan 1779, died 14 July 1780. Daniel born 5 Dec 1780, died 17 July 1782. Amos died young. Hannah born 14 June 1783, married 15 Feb 1803, Rev. Joseph Rowell of Cornish. Amos born 12 July 1785, died unmarried 8 July 1814. Sally born 11 June 1787, died 2 May 1790. Mehitable born 14 Jan 1790, died 30 Apr 1790. Rebecca Hart born 2 May 1791 married 23 Feb 1814 David Dana of Pomfret, VT. Benjamin Kimball (1023) born 5 April 1798.
