Here is my Chase line: Luman Chase, born 11 May 1846 at Old Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut (Litchfield). Married Lucy Elizabeth Pratt 3 Dec 1866 at Viola, Mercer, Illinois. Died 18 Apr 1932 at Deer Park, Spokane, Washington. Was in the Civil War, Company E, 138 Infantry of Illinois. Was also a member of the Grand Army of the Republic. Luman's father was Lumish Chase and his mother was Lucy House, both born in New York. This is all I know about them. Children of Luman Chase and Lucy Elizabeth Pratt: 1. Fannie Irene Chase, born 23 Dec 1867 at Viola, Mercer, Illinois. Was married to a John Hiber, no date. Died 7 Mar 1950 at Absarokee, Stillwater, Montana. 2. Charles Marsh Chase, born 17 Dec 1870 at Viola, Mercer, Illinois. Wife's name was Stella. Died 15 May 1940, no place. 3. Sarah Jane (Sadie) Chase, born 28 Jan 1874 at Tobias, Saline, Nebraska. Married to Will D. Cogswell. Died 25 Dec 1935 at Veneta, Lane, Oregon. 4. Mary Ann (Mattie) Chase, born 29 Jan 1878 at Tobias, Saline, Nebraska. Married Richard Hunt. Died 19 Sep 1959 at Spokane, Spokane, Washington. 5. Hattie Chase, born 20 Nov 1883 at Tobias, Saline, Nebraska. Married George Judson Faulkner 3 Jan 1900 at Tobias, Saline, Nebraska. Died 23 Dec 1968 at Spokane, Spokane, Washington. Hattie is my Great Grandmother. 6. Harry R. Chase, born 26 Jul 1889 at Tobias, Saline, Nebraska. Wife 's name was Edna.
