Hi Julie: Thanks for the information. Unfortunately, these people are not in my Morgan line that originates in West Virginia. The group of Morgans I am interested in moved from Virginia to Garden Grove, Iowa in 1849-50. The Chase line I am looking for also moved into Garden Grove, Iowa sometime between 1850 and 1860 and took up residence next to the Morgans. I believe this was Lyman (Bradley) Chase. A Daughter, Phoebe Jane Chase, married Uriah Mortimer Morgan. It is her line I am trying to trace back.
