Hi Leta, It is my understanding that the LDS sites now have computers that access all the programs offered by Ancestry.com. It is a good marketing device by Ancestry.com. I have not checked this out lately, but if the above is true, simply go to your nearest site and go on the One World Tree. Good Luck, Rex Chase

Still trying to find the death date of Wallace Fairbanks Chase. As best that can be figured according to the census, Wallace was born abt.1882. Some of the census states he was born in Virginia while others state he was born in Maine. According to the marriage license and certificate to his second wife, Mamie Elizabeth Smith in 1948, Wallace was listed as living in St. Louis, Mo. The two witnesses for the marriage were probably his two sons, Charles F. Chase, and William . E.B. Chase. Wallace supposedly died around 1950-1954 in St. Louis, Mo. I have sent to St. Louis and Illinois vital records and they have nothing on Wallace. I have checked for the last several years in every place I know possible, but nothing. So, thought perhaps someone in the Chase family would have information that would help me over this huge brick wall. Praying for a miracle that someone will know the death date for Wallace F. Chase Many thanks, Leta leta.sheaffer@verizon.net

Hello All, There is a new visual search engine called Grokker and it allows you to look through web searches in categories rather than just in lists. It is very cool. Check out this simple search for "Chase Genealogy" http://www.grokker.com/applet.html?mapKey=-2b092142%3A103b417494a%3A-7eda&query=Chace Just click on any of the categories to zoom in. I happen to own one of his books(2nd Edition 1883). Dr. Chase was a Family Physician and Bee Keeper. A saying on the front page of the book says "To prevent Disease is Better than to Cure". I've read thru the book a bit and found it to be very interesting in how things were done in the late 1800's. I laughed when I noticed he took up 10 1/2 pages to explain the importance of a bath and how it will help you to stay health. If you get a chance to buy one of his books do it, you will enjoy reading it. Hello to all, Jeffrey's email shows hia non-stop dedication to the Chas/Chace research. However the complete copies of the reports on these Reunions , with photographs, can be found on the CHASE?CHACE website at http://chase.genealogysurnames.com/. and scroll down the index These accounts were copied and formatted by our own LONNIE CHASE, For those who may not know Lonnie and his wife Maryetta completely transcribed the whole of the CHASE/CHACE Chronicles, (A truly MONUMENTAL work.) These Chronicles are not just full of information re CHASE/CHACE and associated Graphics and photos but also clearly illustrate the attitudes and outlook of Americans from the early 1900s up to 1932. The Search engine on the site is a little primitive but it does a fair job although I bekieve it may not search the 25,000 names in the Census Keith ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jeffrey Chace" <j.b.chace@amaze.nl> To: <CHASE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, May 03, 2005 11:12 PM Subject: [CHASE-L] William Chace > Hello, > > I was just at the New York Public Library today and found a volume > entitled Chace Family Association Reunions which contained information > pertaining to three reunions of 1901, 1902 and 1903.
