Our Chandler ancestors are: William Henry Chandler was born around 1830, supposedly in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He married Flora M. Campbell (abt. 1836-1888) on September 28, 1854 at the Episcopalian Church of St John the Baptist in NYC. William and Flora had three daughters: Susan Amelia Chandler (@1857-1881), married Cornelius Huff; Maria Louisa Chandler (aka Amelia Louise) (@1860- 1911), married Jacob van Tassell Cobb; and Sarah Malvina Chandler (@1861-1949), married William Hurley. William Henry died February 21, 1863 and is buried in Cypress Hills Cemetery in Queens, NY. William Henry's parents were William Henry Chandler, Sr. (abt. 1800-before 1840) and Susan A. (aka Susannah) Bassett (abt. 1803-1878). W.H. and Susan had the following children: William Henry, Jr. (see above); John Chandler; Sarah Chandler; Clara Chandler; Joseph Chandler. William Henry, Sr., according to what little information we have, was born, lived and died in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Any help in finding his ancestors would be greatly appreciated.
