Capt Thomas Chandler and Hannah Brewer were the parents of Hannah Chandler who married my Daniel Bixby.Dec 2, 1674. All reports say she was born in Andover but I have not been able to find her in any Vital Records of Andover. I belive your William is My Thomas Chandlers Brother. as the William Chandler baptised 20 Marach 1635/6 Married first Mary Dane married 2nd Bridget Henchman, they also had a sister Hannah but that is not my hannah she married George Abbot, m.2nd Francis Dane.. There were & children in all two died young. These are the children of William Chandler and Annis Bayford. Who is the generation that came over from England on the Abigail. a ship in the Winthrop Fleet. Annis married John Dane then John Parmenter. Also most every generation had a Hannah and a lot of the sons also had daug. named Hannah. opes this helps you clear up the confusion. Some of this came out of a privately published book "William and Annis Chandler's Descendants. Compiled by Helen Hunt Reed. of Toledo, Oh. in Dec 1983. There is also a great article on the Chandlers in the NEHGR 1931, April , Vol 85. pages 133-145. This article has 4 generation of Chandlers back in England and William and his Children here in New England. I still have no date for Hannah.
