I am researching Chandlers (Chantler/Chauntler) in Barcombe Sussex, I have Elizabeth (b 1795), my ggg grandmother, and her siblings George, Charlot, Edward, William & Mahalath. Their parents were Edward Chantler and Sarah Smith m 1788 in Barcombe. I have traced the Smiths to Thomas 1698 but and having more trouble with the Chandlers. Is this familiar to anyone?
