Hello; My name is Scott McIntyre, and I am descended from two apparently very distinct families of Chandlers from Massachusetts: two lines from William Chandler the Elder of Andover, Massachusetts, and one line from the (possibly Alden/Mayflower -related) Chandlers of Duxbury/Duxborough, Plymouth County, Massachusetts (line of Edmund Chandeleer/Chandelor of England, father of Joseph, who was father of Edmund Chandler, who was probably father of John Chandler of Duxbury by Elizabeth Alden, granddaughter of John Alden, daughter of Jonathan Alden).
