Hello from England... Can anyone in the States tell me if there has been a Chandler Motor Company in the U.S.? It's family legend, you see, that two of my Grandfather's cousins emigrated to America early this century and founded the Chandler Motor Company, that it was leter neme-changed to the Essex Motor Company and finally got "rationalised" by General Motors... Is this what someone in Britain might call "a load of old tosh", or is there any ring of truth to it?
