I do not believe "Edson" was his given name. I believe it may have been Charles after his father. I have found a census listing for a C Edson Chandler, estimated birth year fits, birthplace & deathplace fit and the birthplace of his mother, Canada, fits. Mothers name was Celestia Kennedy b: 19 Sept 1872 in South Douro, Ontario, Canada and died 1962 in Central City, Nebraska. Her family did move to and settle in Nebraska which would make me believe that he was indeed born in Nebraska as the census states. Father Charles Chandler was probably from Nebraska. If any of this information looks familiar please contact me.
