Hi everyone I have just adopted a few mailing lists at Rootsweb, CHANDLER-L is one of those. I just want to invite everyone to post to the list. A quiet list doesn't help anyone! ;-) A few list guidelines: 1. Don't *flame* anyone. Basically, this just means be nice. If someone is rude through the list, they'll be removed. 2. If you don't like what someone posted through the list, do not respond to the list. Chances are, we won't like your reponse either. Rest assured, I am watching the list and will take the necessary steps when any OT mail, spam or rude remarks are sent. 3. No off-topic posts. Do *not* post virus warnings, chain letters, etc. 4. Post your queries to the list!!! If we don't post, no one will benefit. 5. No "Roll Calls". I hope the list is used all the time, not only at a time when someone yells roll call. Attempts to call for a roll call can get the person removed from the list. I hope everyone will begin to use this list to find their ancestors! 8-) Ruth rosemunda@earthlink.net
