Dear List, I am researching the Chandlers of the south. My only info is a Barbara Ellen Chandler. I do know that either her father or grandfather was a Civil War doctor and he served at Vicksburg. Barbara married several times. She lived in AR for a while but most likely was originally from another state, perhaps Missouri.
