Seeking info on Sefrhen or Sephen Chandler. I have a letter written in 1889 that mentions him, the handwriting is hard to make out, one would think it should be Stephen, and it might be but if it is it's misspelled. The letter was written in Pilot Mt., Surry Co. NC. so he probably lived in the area. It also mentions his daughter, Saley. Also Elizabeth Bowen, an uncle Ledford ( I think his last name was Vaughan) who died Nov. 15, 1888, he was 84yrs. and 3mo. the letter was written by James H. Moore of Pilot Mt. Surry Co.
