Hi, Can anyone tell me anything about the marriage of James E. Chandler (b. 1814, Darlington Dist., SC, son of John Chandler) to Eleanor Norwood, daughter of Alexander McIntosh Norwood. I've been told that they were married but no source or substantiating evidence was given. James is shown in the 1850 Newton Co., MS census with a wife name Eleanor, but how was the connection to Norwood made??? Peggy
