It was the pivotal in the demise of the Virginia Company in June 1624. You should be able to read about it in any standard Virginia history text - certainly those that are more than 25 years old (I don't know what is in the current PC versions of history). You should also be able to find numerous accounts by looking in the subject index of any medium to large library. I also entered the words "1622 Indian Massacre" on a WWW search engine, which produced 59 responses, which should enable you to learn the basics about the event from your computer. JC
